There are many types of scorpions in the Sonoran desert of Arizona. Its amazing what you can find hiding under rocks, crevices of walls, under brush, etc. If you carry a black light out at night, often times you can find scorpions easily because they glow a greenish blue color. It’s actually out of this world-amazing to see them glow. If you click on one of the scorpion types above, it will take you to a page where I discus more specific information on that type of scorpion’s habitat and how to keep them out of your home. Scorpions feed on crickets and many small arthropod pests. They even eat spiders. They are a beneficial and natural pest deterrent because they prey on many of our other unwanted pests. The downfall is that most scorpions, outside of Whip Tail Scorpion and Pseudo Scorpions, can pack a good sting. In fact, the Arizona Bark Scorpion is listed as one of the most venomous scorpions in the world. We kill scorpions at our customers homes and places of work because of the threat they impose on us humans from their deadly stings. We use products that kill scorpions in which scorpions ingest or breath in. Many products that are used don’t effect scorpions because they are not so easily consumed or transferable through their hard exoskeleton bodies. In fact, they just walk over most pesticides like its water. Wettable powders I personally find to be most effective against scorpions. A wettable powder is a soluble pesticide that quickly dissolves in water. When dry the pesticide leaves a light layer of dust that is very hard to see from our viewpoint, yet it’s extremely effective on the control of scorpions. Call us today or fill out our contact form if you have any question about our services or about this pest. We have been servicing customers for Scorpions and more for 13 years. We take our job seriously and find it rewarding to see our customers satisfied with true quality service.
